Can anyone help me with invitation ideas?

I’m having an Alice in Wonderland themed sweet 16 party, it’ll be called “Club Wonderland” cause I wanna give it a club feel. It’s going to be very extravagant so I need nice invitations. There’s really no time to order them, and I don’t want to make them with clip art, or something where they LOOK like I made them. lol. So does anyone have ideas or pictures of what I can make [homemade] if I buy things from craft shops,etc.?

Wow, trying to combine lots of themes. Might just want to stick with the overall “Alice” theme and let the party take care of the club theme.

My thought is to let your cover look like the door that Alice enters once she falls, as if your guests are opening a door into Wonderland (which in essence they are by entering the party).

Once inside (the invitation that is) You can theme it to any one (or many) part of the movie. One thought is to make a map of sorts, all starting with the Cheshire Cat’s smile in the middle with paths leading to date of the party, time of the party, place, etc. At each piece of information, have a token that relates. Like at the info for where the party is the tag on the bottle similar to what Alice drinks would read “find me”, instead of “drink me”. And at the info of time, maybe the White Rabbit and his watch saying “I’m late!” For the where, you could have the cards painting the roses, since that’s when Alice arrives at the Queen of Heart’s palace.

I’m not sure how much time you have, but it is very possible to lay it all out in the computer and print off, and still have the invitations not look made.
